The brief was to design three supplements based on 3 designers, writers or agencies who had done talks for the typographic circle. I chose Anthony Burrill, Angus Hyland and Rick Poynor, three designers whose work I found inspiring. The design of the supplements was not supposed to copy the style of the chosen designers in any way.
I allocated two compimentary typefaces that acted as header
and block text typefaces, and one choice of bold colour , orange, blue and green, to each designer/writer, to give the books some individuality but to keep them looking like they belonged as a set.
